Newcrest Vacation Program
The Newcrest Vacation Program is a 12 week placement from December to February which seeks to provide students currently studying towards the completion of their degree with practical work experience in the mining industry.
At the completion of the Vacation Program, following manager assessments, high performing Vacation students have the opportunity to be fast-tracked through a final selection process for placement on our Graduate Program.
Choosing to spend time at a world-class Newcrest mine site is a voyage of discovery where you'll find out what the mining industry is like, and gain hands-on career experience.
Applications open: Monday, 17th August 2009.
Applications close: Thursday, 17th September 2009.

Opportunities for Vacation Students span VIC, NSW, QLD, and WA. If you need to move to take up your placement on the Newcrest Vacation Program, we offer relocation support including, rental assistance, and return flights for you at the commencement and completion of your program.
To be eligible to apply, you must be studying towards a relevant tertiary qualification.
