Here in Queensland we have the Head Office of our Exploration Division in Brisbane and the joint venture Cracow gold mining operation (70% Newcrest, 30% Sedimentary Holdings).
Cracow Gold Mine in Central Queensland (154km SE of Biloela) is an underground operation with high grade epithermal gold mineralisation. The Cracow Operation employs approximately 150 people and had its first gold production in November 2004. Newcrest manages the mining operation and exploration in the district.
