The Newcrest 2009 Graduate Program has a number of places up for grabs. By keeping numbers small, we can make sure you benefit from the highest quality, one-on-one mentoring and training.
The Graduate Program lasts two years and will give you the opportunity to use state of-the-art technology on live projects during two 12-month placements at remote locations. You’ll find we keep things interesting with a mix of on-the-job experience, formal training and tailored support, including two annual Graduate Workshops, and various networking events.
We want to hear from graduates in the following discipline areas:
Metallurgy
Engineering (Mining, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Geotechnical & Civil)
Environmental Science
Surveying
Geology
Information Technology
Accounting
Finance
HR and OH&S
Depending on your degree discipline, you’ll be placed in either our Exploration Division (principally for Exploration Geologists), at our operations in Telfer (WA), Cadia Valley (NSW) and Cracow (QLD) or in our Melbourne office.
If you need to move to take up your place on the Graduate Program, we offer relocation support, including furniture removal, storage and insurance, temporary accommodation and flights for you and your immediate family.
